IH Dubai was delighted to attend the 2010 Graduation Ceremony at the Vocational Education Development Centre and to celebrate those students receiving their certificates.
The event was quite a success with hundreds in attendance to witness these young men's achievements. Sitting there in the second row we enjoyed the music and dancing performed by the students and then a wonderfully produced video about the work VEDC undertake.
VEDC have been doing excellent work in supporting and nurturing their students and this is evident in their commitment to finding the best accredited exam for their learners. The initial exam taken was the Key English Test, known as KET.
As a Preparation Centre for the Cambridge Exams working through IH Dubai, we have offered the exams and supported VEDC in its bid to become a Cambridge Pre-testing centre (this allows them to be involved in the development of new tests whilst giving future candidates invaluable experience of the test itself). Following new developments with University of Cambridge ESOL Examinations, preparation centres will also be able to have access to online results and the ability to print out candidate letters etc.
We'd like to say, "Congratulations!', once again to all those who took the exams and also to commend the work done by the team of dedicated teachers at VEDC in helping those students achieve so much.
